As far as the game, there were a few rough spots as there always is with the first game of the season. But I felt pretty good despite the loss afterwards because we had a lot of bright spots. Our offensive and defensive lines, I think, played well. UNC's Brandon Tate was absolutely an amazing player. Without him, I don't think UNC wins the game.
The hurricane appears to spared SW Louisiana from much damage and it looks like we will play Delta State in "The Hole" Saturday Night. Everybody needs to be there to support the Pokes as Delta St. is a perenial playoff team in Div II
