About 4PM Cbuck and I left the hotel to head for the parking lot where the McNeese fans were tailgating. I saw a few of these McNeese car flags in the outlet mall parking lots Saturday morning.

A couple of shots of some of the McNeese tailgating spots.

The food table at one one of the spots. Somebody offered me a sample of some bacon wrapped grilled shrimp. It was good!!!!

A lot of the McNeese fans were just sitting around relaxing. When the Texas St. fans would walk by between the spots, they would start up with some McNeese cheers or cowbells. We thought it was funny that some of the Texas St fans were getting good naturedly harassed on the way to their own stadium.

A shot of a couple of fans that hollered out to me.

I walked down to Jerry and Jackie's Bounder to see what was happening there. Their RV is always a meeting place for a lot of McNeese fans when on the road.

There was a game of "ladders" or whatever they call it going on.

This little cheerleader was shaking her pom-pom at the Texas St. fans going by.

I decided to head for the stadium to take some pre-game pictures. When I got there, the McNeese Pep Band that made the trip over was warming up.

A shot of the new pressbox/luxurybox seating on the west side of the stadium.

A shot of the Texas St. Fieldhouse. I'll be glad when our new one is completed in a couple of years.

I went down, talked to the cadets manning the Texas St. howlitzer, and took a picture. They must not use a very big load of powder because it was not very loud when it went off.

Some of the players were out on the track outside the visitors dressing room doing a little preliminary stretching.

Mase Duge, of whom I took a picture on the training table with his knee iced, was out warming up with the Qb's. I was happy to hear his injury was just a bruised knee.

Looks like Johnny Suydem and Tom Hoeffer had plenty of room in the pressbox to do the McNeese radio broadcast of the game.

Derrick Fourroux throws a pass to John Leday during warmups.

Former Center Lance Fremin, who coaches the tight ends, huddles up for a short prayer with his players.
