They have to punt but down the ball on our 7 yard line. Below, Derrick throws a pass out of our endzone towards Immanuel Friddle on an out route but the pass was incomplete.
We have to punt and they get the ball in good field position on our 39 yard line. Below, Matt Kreamer makes a tackle but Tex. St. gets a first down.
On 1st and 10 from our 12 yard line, Tex. St. runs and option play to the right side. Two of our guys take the quarterback and nobody takes the runningback who almost walks into the endzone for the TD. After the TD the score is 7-20 and things aren't looking too good.
There is 8:19 left in the second quarter and we need to answer before halftime. Below, Todd gets some yardage on our next possession.
Wr Richard Conner makes a good catch going across the middle for 22 yards down to the Tex. St. 49 yard line.
After a catch by Corday Clark gets the ball down to the Tex. St. 33, Todd Pendland gets the ball, bounces off a tackler in the line, and goes 33 yards for the TD. We miss the PAT and the score is now 13-20 with 5:49 left in the first half.
We need the ball back before the half and the defense steps up.
On 2nd and 1, Joe Narcisse makes a good tackle for a one yard loss. They have an incomplete pass on 3rd down and have to punt the ball back to us.
We have the ball on our own 40 with 4:12 on the clock. On the first play, FB Brandon Broussard catches a pass and goes 30 yards up the sideline. But the play was called back for an illegal formation.

On 1st and 15, Derrick gets 4 yards on a run. Then Immanuel Friddle catches the pass and gets 10 more yards.
On 3rd and 1, Todd gets a pitch and goes 11 yards for the first down.
John Leday then catches a pass on the sideline for 7 yards down to the Tex. St. 33.
Eventually, Wes Mangan catches a pass and gets the ball down to the Tex. St. 2 yard line with 31 seconds left.
On the next play, Derrick hits the other TE Corday Clark for a TD. The score is now tied 20-20 with 26 seconds left and we have answered.
Terrance Freeman gets a Qb hurry right before the half ends.
We get the ball first to start the second half. Below, Todd gets tackled on a run.
