Justin Beitzel kicks off to start the game. The kick goes through the left side of the endzone for a touchback and Texas St. gets the ball on their 20 to start the game.
The lines come off the snap of the first play from scrimmage.
Texas St. begins driving the ball down the field. Below, DB Chris Raggett knocks a ball away from a Texas St. receiver.
But a few plays later a Texas St. receiver gets behind us to catch a TD pass. This makes the score 0-7 after the PAT.

After a couple of runs and a 39 yard pass reception by TE Wes Mangan, Todd Pendland follows OT Casey Richter around the right side and gets 9 yards.
We get the ball down to the 3 yard line and have a 3rd and goal. Todd Pendland gets into the "22" formation and fights his way into the endzone for the touchdown.
The line blocks as Josh Lewis hits the PAT and the score is now tied at 7.

Darrell Jenkins pulls down a Texas St. WR after an 18 yard pass reception down to our 10 yard line.
They eventually score on a five yard run around the right side but miss this PAT attempt. The score is now 7-13.
On our next possession, we get a 57 yard run by Todd Pendland to the TXST 23. On second and ten, Derrick throws a pass out of bounds when Immanuel Friddle is covered.
On the next play, Derrick tries to squeeze the ball into Richard Conner but doesn't quite get it over a linebacker's head and it is intercepted.
They try a trick play on the first play. George thows a lateral pass to the right and the player who received it tried to throw a pass back to the left sideline. But Seth Thomas stayed home and almost intecepted the pass.
