When we got to the stadium before the game, we found that the McNeese tailgaters were scattered all over. Some of them were in the west parking lot. Some of the McNeese fans had congregated around Jerry Stephens RV.

When I got into the stadium, I ran into Head Trainer "Doc" Murphy and told him I was tired of him working so hard. :-)

The Texas St. athletic department administration finally wised up and gave us our own section instead of sticking us in the general admission section with the students. I think there were a lot less friction and confrontations because of that. And the cheerleaders had a spot to lead cheers in front of our own fans instead of getting stuck in front of the obnoxious Texas St. students like in 2004.
