Walking around to get a better shot of the Band performing, I stopped to get a shot of the two Bucanneers with the canon and their black powder pistols.

Amy, in her new uniform, twirls her baton.

The Cowgirl Kickers kick during their performance.

One of the bandsmen plays his horn during the Band's pre-game performance.

The Color Guard marched out and the National Anthem was played.

The Kickers dance to the playing of "Jolie Blonde".

Next, the Mystery Rider made his appearance into the stadium. Always a crowd favorite.

After the Mystery Rider, a ceremony was held at mid-field to honor Mr. Robert Noland. Robert donated the funds for the new Turf Field and asked for it to be named in honor of long time SID Louis Bonnette. Below, from left to right, AD Tommy McClelland, McNeese President Dr. Robert Hebert, Mr. Robert Noland, and SID Louis Bonnette. Thanks again, Robert!!

While the ceremony was going on, ParaPoke Dwayne Bruette and his three partners were cicrling over head. Below, Dwayne glides in and manages to land at the fifty without his usual somersault.

The fourth of the four skydivers brings in the American Flag.

The Senior Captains for the game were LB Allen Nelson, DT Kenneth Lundy, OT Kyle Link, and OG Eman Naghavi.

A shot of the coin toss at mid-field. Southern Virginia won the toss, deferred to the second half, and we got the ball first.

Since, Allen Nelson was occupied with the cointoss, Sr SS John Vigers "brings the wood" and leads the Cowboys out onto the field.
