A shot of the underneath of the stadium with all the banners and ads.

Not too soon after I got into the stadium, the Band arrived and played Jolie Blonde on the ramp.

The Pokes go through their stretching excercises under the watchful eye of Strength and Conditioning Coack Zeb Hawkins.

The Db's huddle up after individual drills including a couple still in street clothes.

The players and coaches kneel for a pre-game prayer.

The Drumline leads the Band out for their pregame performance.

Then the rest of the Bandsmen double time it out.

The Band invited a large group of high school bandsmen to this game. A shot of them in the stands. They performed with the Band at halftime.

A shot of one of the Cowgirl Kickers during their pre-game performance.

A shot of the Drum Major leading the Band.

A shot of all the Kickers.

A shot of the Color Guard during the National Anthem.

A couple of fans clap and sway to the playing of Jolie Blonde.

After the Band's performance it was time for the skydivers. First was the one and only ParaPoke. Note: We warned him he better not land on his feet because everytime he does, we either lose or have a very close game. A couple of shots of ParaPoke.

ParaPoke Dwayne Bruette wants to make the name ParaPoke generic and not just to apply to him, so after he can no longer jump there will always be a ParaPoke. Sort of like the mascot Rowdy and the individuals that have been Rowdy. Evidently, the present day Rowdy thought ParaPoke was infringing on his territroy because Rowdy grabbed ParaPokes chute and preceded to drag him around on the ground.

The second Skydiver was carrying the McNeese Cowboy flag.

And the third and final skydiver carried the American Flag.

After the skydivers, the McNeese Mystery Rider made his appearance and eventually led the team onto the field. A couple of pictures. I did have a close encounter with the horse as he tried to back over me while I was trying to get a shot of the team captains.

Team Captains for this game were Seniors RB Elrick Jones, FB Brandon Broussard, TE/FB Kurt Reeves, and RB Toddrick Pendland.

A shot of the cointoss. I think SSU won the coin toss and elected to receive.

A shot of the cheerleaders leading the Cowboys onto the field.

A shot of the Cowboys entering with Devin Holland "bringing the wood".

That's it for pre-game, it is time for the kickoff.
