Savannah St. got the ball first. On third and 19, Desmund Lighten gets to the Qb and knocks the ball loose.

A SSU linemen makes a diving attempt to recover the ball in the endzone to recover the fumble but comes crashing down a little short.

Desmund gets up and jumps on the ball in the endzone for the TD.

Below, Desmund celebrates after the TD.

After the kickoff and on 3rd and 10, Jace Peterson, Geremy Pilate, and Josh Ellison sack the Qb for a 8 yard loss.

On McNeese first offensive possession, Derrick Fourroux throws a pass on 1st and 10 on the SSU 34 yardline...........

...........and Immanuel Friddle hauls it in at the back of the endzone for McNeese 2nd TD.

Freshman Josh Lewis kicks the PAT. Josh was perfect for the first half and for the game because he was one of those players that got to sit out the second half.

The cheerleaders did pushups to celebrate the TD.

A couple the cheerleaders turn flips coming off the field.

Some of the students celebrate in the stands.

Qb Derrick Fourroux waits for a snap after we got the ball back when SSU went 3 and out and had to punt.

On a second 3rd and 7 down, after the first one had off setting penalties to nulify it, Derrick hits Chris Royal on this pass.

After making the catch, Chris breaks a tackle and blows by everybody for a 68 yard TD. After the PAT, we have 21-0 lead.

SSU goes 3 and out again and we get the ball back. Below, Chris Royal, tries to turn the corner on an end around and gets 4 yards.

On 4th and 1 from the SSU 44 yard line, we get in our "wildcat" formation (or do you call it the "wild cowboy" formation). Todd Pendland takes the direct snap and goes around the right side behind some good blocking which included one by Qb Derrick Fourroux to go 44 yards for the TD.

The student section sways and claps to the playing of Jolie Blonde.
