The 2 point conversion attempt failed and the score is now 36-35. SLU has 40 seconds left and a field goal can still win the game. On the kickoff, the SLU returner fumbles the ball. By the time he picks it up, Javaris Murray, with his great speed, is on top of him and tackles him at the 16 yard line.
On the first play, we tie Babin up but he manages to just toss the ball away and gets called for intentional grounding.
We get called for roughing the Qb on an incomplete pass. They then complete a pass to their 44 for a first down. Below, Malcolm Bronson makes the tackle.
After incompletion and a delay of game penalty, it is 2nd and 15 on the SLU 39 with seconds left. Brian Babin rolls out to the right and throws a deep pass that is intercepted by Malcolm Bronson on the McNeese 7 yard line. It wouldn't have matter because Babin threw the ball when he was about 4 yards pass the line of scimmage. Malcolm returned it 11 yards to the McNeese 18 as the time ran out.
