Southeastern Louisiana Game
We went over to Hammond last Saturday to catch the game. The Pokes played very well on defense shutting down the SLU offense most of the night. We ran the offense very well in the first half and got shut down a little in the third quarter. But we put together a 10 minute drive in the fourth quarter that led to a field goal that gave us a 10 lead with only about 2:30 left on the clock. It was a good win for the Cowboys. The final score was McNeese 24, SLU 14.
