The Band double times it onto the field to start their pre-game performance.

I assume that this is Dr. Jay Jacobs, Director of Bands, leading the Band in the playing of the National Anthem and the McNeese Alma Mater.

When the Band finished up, the Video Introduction started up.
But part way into the video the crowd grew quiet. Something was missing. The Horse and Masked Rider wasn't entering when it they normally did. The tension started building and you could almost hear the crowd thinking, "Where is the Horse and Rider?, Will they appear? Will they miss showing tonight?" And when the crowd saw the Horse and Rider coming down the ramp a big cheer went up.
And the Horse did great this time. It even went across the painted endzone.
The Senior Captains for this game were RB Neely Hubbard, CB Marcus Brown, DB Darrick Brown, and WR Carlese Franklin.
The coin toss for the game. SLU won and deferred to the second half and we got the ball first.
The Cheerleaders run their new flags down the center of the field.
The Pokes enter the field with Vaalyn Jackson carrying the "Big Stick" this time.
