When I got to our tailgate spot, our tailgate spot guarddog, Rowdy, wouldn't let me pass without giving him a treat.

And this week, he had backup. A new little puppy named Kay Dee.

I had a sinus headache Saturday, so after a few Advil, I didn't get out to walk around and take pictures until almost 4 pm. And I sure wasn't going to mess around with this guy. :-)

Some real tailgating going on here.

The Children's Miracle Network was having a contest for whoever could collect the most donations. If these young men, didn't win the contest, they should had things figured out on how to collect some donations.

For some reason, there was a lot of staring at TV's going on. Here, at Scott Pendarvis' tailgate spot.

And at the Poussons' spot.

We made a stop at the Duge spot.

A shot of the Mystery Rider's horse.

In the track stadium, the Children's Miracle Network was judging a tailgate cooking contest.

Marlene Hobbs won the tailgating decorating contest for this week.

A shot of the entrance to the Petrochem/Alumin Affairs tailgating area. I never could remember this year to put my Rowdy card in my wallet to go in there.

I decided to sit down and rest awhile and wait for the Band to march into the Tailgate Area. Sometime right before 6PM, they made their appearance led by the Cowgirl Kickers.

A few shots of the Band playing for the tailgating crowd.

On the way to the stadium, I stopped and took a picture of the Painted Colt that Jack Hebert had donated to the rodeo booster club to raffle.
