Champlain Babin gets us out of the hole by getting 13 yards on first down.
We get no further and have to punt. They get the ball on our 46 yard line. A 15 yard pass play gets the ball down to our 31. On 1st and 10 there, Malcolm Bronson makes this tackle for no gain.
The defense holds and they manage to kick a 40 field goal to make the score 19-22.
We need to answer the score. After the kickoff, Andre 15 yards on a 2nd and 5 play.
I decide to change ends of the field and Jacob hits Bernardo on a 45 yard pass play down to the Sam 14 while I'm behind the team bench (so no picture, of course). After a 5 yard run by Andre Anderson, we have it 2nd and 5 on the 9 yard line. Then Jacob hits a wide open Champlain Babin on a swing pass on the right side. Champ goes around the right side untouched for the score. Diontae Spencer did keep a Bearkat DB occupied long enough in the endzone to allow Champ to score. After the PAT, the score is now 26-22
Somewhere in the stands Andre Bailley plays "Jolie Blonde" on his duckcall and the McNeese fans celebrate.

The quarter ends and we change ends of the field. On the first play of the 4th quarter, Sam tries a trick play where they fake a sweep to the right and have a runningback throw back to the Qb on the left. But Jarron Jackson stays home and intercepts the pass. The only bad thing was that it appeared that Jarron suffered a knee injury on the return.
On 1st down on the Sam 23, Andre gets the ball, looks for a hole, and gets 15 yards down to the Sam 8.
On the next play, Andre gets the final 8 yards and the TD.
The Cheerleaders run the flags to celeberate the TD. The score is now 33-22 with about 14 minutes left in the game.
Ford Smesny makes a good open field tackle on Sam's next possession.
They stall on our 21 and try a 38 yard field goal. But Desmund Lighten gets a good push up the middle and blocks the kick. There is about 10 minutes left in the game.
Champlain Babin gets 41 yards on first down.
We get it in Sam territory but can't connect on this pass on 3rd and 17.
We fake the punt and try to pass but get sacked. Sam gets the ball and eventually has 2nd and 10 on our 41. A Sam Wr catches a pass and goes 25 yards and then loses the ball right into the hands of Darrell Jenkens. Weird play.
