Champlain Babin is in at RB in this series. He gets 4 yards on first down to our 24 yard line. On the next play, he goes through a big hole in the line, then breaks one tackle in the secondary, and then out runs every one for a 76 yard TD run. After the PAT, this makes the score 63-35 with 6:13 left in the game.
The defense surrounds a ball carrier on their next possession. We stop them on 4th and 1 on our 42 and get the ball back.
A shot of Mase Duge on the training table with his knee iced down. I've heard from a good source that it wasn't a major injury. I'm glad for Mase. (Note: I waited to add this photo until after I heard it wasn't a major injury. I wouldn't have wanted to put it up if it was a major one).
On our this possession, we put in a lot of different players. Beau Lasseigne was in at Qb.
The only problem is that he ended up getting into the tackle stats, when he had to knock a Sam player out of bounds who was returning a fumble on our second play. They ended up with the ball on our 16.
On first down, they a shot into the endzone but the receiver catches the ball out of bounds.
On second down, they get 6 yards on a run and Kenrick Cormier and another Cowboy make the tackle.
On the next play, they get it in on a run from the 10 yard line. The score is now 63-42 with 1:58 left. On the kickoff, we have the hands team in the game in case of an onside kick. But they kick it deep, Champlain Babin returns it to our 17 yard line then kneels on the ball.
We then kneel on the ball three times and run out the clock to end the game.

Next week is a 6PM game with Texas St. in San Marcus. Texas St. is one of the three teams that we are tied with for first in the SLC. We really need to win this game and Cowboys need your support. If there is anyway, plan on being there to back the Pokes!!!
