Sam Houston St. Game 2009
The Cowboys won an offensive shootout with Sam Houston St. where the final score was 63-42. We only punted once in the whole game. In the second half, we scored a touchdown in every possession until we put a lot of new players in on the second to last possession. In that one, we fumbled the ball away to allow Sam Houston a garbage touchdown near the end. On the last possession we kneeled on the ball twice. For awhile there in the second half, I didn't think our defense would ever stop them but we ended up stopping them two or three times to eventually widen our lead.
Next week, it will be a very important game with Texas St. in San Marcos. Texas St. is one of them teams that we are tied with for first in the SLC and we really need a win. The Cowboys need your support!! Make plans!!! Be there!!
