I walked around and looked at some of the tailgating spots. Below, Jimmy Mallet was getting ready to make some Bearkat chilli.

Lynn Miller had a couple of interesting things at his spot. First, a large blow up cowboy on top of his RV.

And on the side, he had this display that was quite neat. On the wall are schedule posters from the last ten years of McNeese football.

Joanna Grimes and I decided it was time for a Frosty Factory trip. On the way, we saw this little fellow.

Getting ready to cross the street, it looked like the Buccaneers had stopped at the Frosty Factory to "prime" their cannon.

A shot of all the frozen drink dispensers behind the bar in the Frosty Factory.

After drinking my Monkeyshine and eating a bite, I decided it was time to walk over to the Eastside Tailgating Area to visit.

I stopped and visited with the Poussons. Below, a shot of Brent, his dad, and his uncle.

A shot of another of the tailgate areas on the eastside.

When I got back to the Westside Area, I took a shot of Kenny Cochran's group's spot.

Not soon after I got back to our spot, the Cheerleaders made their weekly visit to get a bite to eat and/or water to drink. A few shots of the cheerleaders.

Rowdy visits with his newest fan.

I heard the band starting to march over so I headed out in the road next to our spot to wait for them. There, I saw this hot rod.

A few shots of the Band marching into the tailgate area and then playing for the tailgaters. They were accompanied by a group of all star high school bandsmen who were marching and playing with them at this game.

After the band played, I headed for the stadium.
