Well, it wasn't a perfect game, but it was as close as we have come to firing on all cylinders this season. The defense was running around putting licks on people and the offense did job of controlling the ball and running time off the clock during crunch job. It was what most McNeese fans consider McNeese football to be.
With the 31-18 win, we are now tied with first in the Southland Conference with SFA and Sam Houston St., which are two teams that we have beaten so far. That means we control our own destiny. Next up, Southeastern Louisana and, boy, do we owe those guys after the last two seasons!!
