I went over Friday afternoon to meet Andy Grimes to set up our tailgating tents. While there we saw the Portland St. player busses arrive for their walkthrough practice in the Stadium. I just had to go over there and check them out. When the Portland St. players and coaches arrived they were met by this group of Elvises (or is it Elvii).

I got to the tailgate area a little after noon on Saturday and Andy was cleaning the grill to get ready to grill some chicken wings.
After feeding Rowdy his obligatory "milk bones", I decided to walk around the tailgate area some even though it was early. I found this outhouse at Kenny Cochran's group's tailgate area. Complete with Elvis inside of it.
Their tailgate area had a "Blue Hawaii" theme to it.

There was also a lot of food being cooked at that time.

A little later, some of the Lake Charles Buccaneers paraded their canon, that is used to celebrate touchdowns, around the tailgate area.

I hurriedly made a trip over to the Eastside Reserved Tailgating trying to beat the approaching thunderstorm. It was a quick trip but I made it back before the bottom fell out. Here, is a shot looking down the road at the Eastside Tailgating Area.
I stop by for my usual visit with the Pousson clan. I found out that Brent had gotten cut that day in the last cut of the preseason. They are hoping that he will make the practice squad.
When leaving to head back, I just had to take this picture of this left handed future QB.
