A game of washers going on.

There were tailgaters all down the back road.

Some chicken wings being grilled (I think).

I saw R.C. Slocum at one tailgate spot and took this picture.

When I got back to the Westside, I decided to go visit the Petrochem/Alumni Affairs Tailgating Area because our favorite local band, The Backyard Cowboys, were playing there.

A shot of all four band members. First, Greg

Brett

The other Brett

And the drummer, Kellie

The McNeese Cookielady (ret.), Francis Buchanan, made it out to the tailgate area for this game.

And, as usual, a former player or two (they all remember her and her cookies) comes to visit her. This time it was Keith Ortego.

About 5 PM, I walked around the Westside again. Things were getting crowded. Here is a shot looking down both roads in the Westside.

A shot looking down Blue and Gold Drive on the north side of the Westside area.

The Frosty Factory was doing a booming business.

The Petrochem/Alumin Affairs Tailgate was packed.

I saw this sign at a tailgate spot.

A short time later, the McNeese Band marched into the tailgate area led by the Cowgirl Kickers. A couple of shots of the Kickers.

A few shots of the Band as they play "On McNeese" and "Jolie Blonde" for the tailgaters.

It was time to head for the stadium to take some pre-game pictures. On the way, I saw Rowdy visiting with some kids and took this picture.
