On the next play, it is now 2nd and 10 from the Demon 19. Derrick then throws a short pass to Champlain Babin and he gets it into the endzone behind some good blocking.
The cheerleaders celebrate by having the girls do the pushups this time. The score is now 44-16
John Leday makes a good tackle on the following kickoff return.
Behind all the players, Devin Holland flattens Hundley on a blitz forcing a fumble.
Desmund Lighten picks up the ball and goes all the way for the score. After the PAT, the score is 51-16.
Pat Williams tackles Hundley but Hundley gets 12 yards and a first down on 4th and 10.
We do eventually stop them on 4th down on our 17 yard line and with a 15 yard penalty on someone on the NSU bench, we get the ball on our 32 yard line. We put a lot of our reserves in the game with 10+ minutes left in the game. Below, Qb Beau Lasseigne prepares to make a handoff as the line blocks.
On 3rd and 6, Beau throws a 19 yard pass to TE Corday Clark for a first down.
After three consecutive one yard runs by Javaris Murray, running time off the clock, we have to punt. The Demons score against some our subs in five or so plays. Below, we tip the PAT attempt but the ball manages to get through the uprights. The score is now 51-23.
There is about 4 minutes left on the clock and the Demons execute an onside kick and get the ball. They get one first down but we stop them on the next four plays and get the ball back with 2:19 left in the game. Javaris Murray gets a first down on the first play and then runs the ball three more times to run out the clock.

I took one final parting shot of the field, the Band, the players being interviewed, and the scoreboard as I was leaving.
Next week it is the Southeastern Lions in "The Hole" at 6PM. I still haven't forgotten that 2004 game (and the 2005 post Rita game). Make plans to be there and support the Cowboys!!!!
