Northwestern St. Tailgating Pictures, Page 1

I got to the tailgate area early but there wasn't any use bringing out the camera very much because it was raining pretty good.

Rain on the cowbell is no problem, but rain on a digital camera "ain't" good. So I stay hunkered down trying to find a dry spot under the tailgating tent.

Later it slacked off (and eventually quit) and the BBQ pits could be manned.

I took a quick walk around and took a few pictures.

The Cowboy Cooker is getting older but still going strong.

Chris Buchanan, Scott Buchanan, and I walked over to the Eastside Tailgating Area. We found that Scott Pendarvis' parents were in town this week for the game. Below, a shot of Ella and Scott's grandmother.

Below, Robert shows off his new rig.

I moved on down and visited the Pousson's tailgating area.

They twisted my arm and made me eat some of their fried venison. It didn't take a lot of twisting.

A pot was being stirred at one of the Eastside spots.

Penny Conners, a MAF Board Member, poses for the camera.

We had heard a rumor of a new "Best Seat in the House" behind the South endzone. It was a Toyota Pickup truck supplied by Phillip Tarver.

While we were in the stadium, we decided to visit with Eric and Corey of Tarver Media Productions in the control room under the scoreboard. They get there at 7:30 in the morning and it takes them all day to get ready to run the scoreboard video and record the game video. Below, a few shots taken during our visit.
