Derrick rolls out, jumps, and completes a pass to Wesley Mangan on this play.

On the Demons' next possession, Marcus Brown gets interception number 2.

But we turn the ball back over, when this pass to Carlese was a little short and the Demon Db picked it off.

But we got the ball back on the Demon 41 when Kenneth Lundy forced a fumble and Trey Bennett jumped on it.

Rowdy found a perch to watch from on the roof of the scoreboard control room.

We didn't do anything with the ball and punted. The Demons drove down and scored to make the score 21-14 with 6:27 left in the game. The first play after the kickoff Toddrick Pendand takes a handoff and goes 63 yards for the TD. The PAT was no good and the score was 27-14 with 5:35 left.

The canon was down on the field because of the TV cameras in the endzone. When it was fired, the wind wasn't blowing so the smoke hung over the playing field giving the next plays a surreal type look. Below, Darrick Brown makes the tackle on the kickoff return at the 17 yardline.

Joshua Ellison and Garren Jim combine on a tackle.

A shot showing the smoke hanging over the field.

Of all of the good plays Marcus Brown made in this game, the following wasn't one of them. One of the Demon runningbacks broke about a 20 yard run but fumbled the ball forward at the McNeese 27 yardline. The ball was surrounded by McNeese players but Marcus Brown tried to scoop it up but just managed to knock it into the endzone where the Demons recovered it for a touchdown. That made the score 27-21 with 3:08 left in the game. If we had just fallen on the ball, we could have run some serious time off the clock with a 14 point lead.
