The contestant was a ringer in that it was former WR Brit Brodhead and he caught all the catchable punts for the money.
At halftime there was a ceremonial check presented from Robert Noland to acting AD Tommy McCelland and President Robert Hebert to donate money for new artificial turf for Cowboy Stadium. A big THANK YOU, Robert.
That wasn't too big a surprise because word had been out for awhile about Robert donation. The big surprise was that Robert only had one request in return for the donation. That the field be named for whoever he chose. The surprise to everybody was that he wanted the field to be name Louis Bonnette Field. I don't think Louis had a clue and was completely floored when the name was read over the P.A. Louis has been a tireless worker as Sports Information Director at McNeese for over 40 years.

On fourth and less than one at our 15 yard line, we hold them for no gain. The measurement show them to be short and we took over the ball.

Blake comes in and kicks a 62 yard bomb. The ball was downed and, with a facemask penalty tacked on, the ball ended up at the Demon 8 yard line.
On the Demon next possession, Travis Thibodeaux gets a sack.
