A Nicholls Rb gets the ball into the endzone from 8 yards out. The score is now 14-7.
They get penalized on the kickoff for excessive celebration and we return the ball to the Nicholls 48. On the second play, Chad Davis catches this pass and gets 12 yards down to the Nicholls 37.
Later on the drive, we have the ball 1st and 10 on the Nicholls 14 and Javaris Murray was one shoestring tackle from breaking it.
Derrick gets the snap on a play where Javaris gets one yard down to the Nicholls 7.
We have 3rd and 3 from the Nicholls 7. Derrick then completes a short pass to Javaris who takes it in for the score. This makes the score 21-7.

We have a good defensive series and Nicholls goes three and out. Below, Terrance Freeman tackles a Nicholls Rb for just a 2 yard gain.
Then Josh Ellison makes a tackle in the Nicholls backfield for a 2 yard loss.
On 3rd and 10, they throw a pass in the flat and Malcolm Bronson was all over it to hold them to a 3 yard gain.
They punt and we get called for running into the kicker, so they have to punt again. After a couple of short pass completions, Champlain Babin gets 5 yards for a first down on third down.
On the next play, Derrick hits a wide open Corday Clark in the endzone but Corday can't hang onto the ball. Corday had a couple of drops in the game which is not normal for him.
VS
