I made it out to our tailgate area about noon on Saturday. I ate then sat around and watched some of both the UNI-Iowa and the ASU-ECU games. About 3 PM, some of decided to take a walk around and go visit the eastside to see what was going on. On the way, we stopped by RetroSports tent which was setup just east of the Westside Reserved Tailgating area. Scott wanted to buy a hat for his girlfriend. She is a Lamar student and didn't have any McNeese hats.

We stopped on the Eastside to see what Darren was cooking.

A shot of a helmet decoration on top of a pickup truck.

A shot of one of the McNeese workers and probably his son. I don't know his name but I always try to say hi.

On the way back to the westside we ran into Assistant AD Ryan Ivey. Ryan is the one that coordinates every thing on game day.

A shot of the back of Kenny Cochran's travel trailer.

The tailgate theme this game was "Camo Day" in support of our troops.

A shot of Bobby and Cathy (with a C) at their tailgate spot.

A shot of Danny and Mary Ann Pundt sitting back, relaxing, and watching some football on TV.

A shot of some more grilling going on.

The "Cowboy Cooker" trailer is going strong.

A shot of the Geauxcowboys.com tailgate guard dog, Rowdy, and his backup, Kaydee.

Later on, we made our traditional Frosty Factory run for a frozen drink.

A shot looking down Blue & Gold Drive.

A couple of shots looking down the two roads in the middle of the Westside Reserved Tailgating Area.

I ran into a couple of my neighbors, the former Road Trip Queens, who were coming back from the Frosty Factory.

A shot of one of the many satellite dishes set up in the tailgating area. A lot of football game watching was going on.

The people in this tailgate spot didn't even need to make a trip to the Frosty Factory.

About 6 pm, the Band marched throught the tailgate area and played Jolie Blonde and On McNeese for the crowd. A few shots of the band.

Some tailgaters got on top of an RV to watch the Band.

It was time to head for the stadium for pregame workouts, ceremonies, and the game.
