I made it over to the Field House Saturday for the sneak preview tour given for all season ticket holders. While on the tour, I took a few photos of some of the rooms during the tour. This is by no means all of the Field House. Also, there is still a little work to be completed here and there. But it looks good now and will look even better when everything is completed and dressed up after completion.
Below a shot of the entrance hall. There are four ticket booths on the left and the glassed in Hall of Fame Room (now empty) on the right.

Below, a shot of the inside of the ticket office. There are four windows open to the entrance hall and four windows that open to the outside for use on gamedays. There is definitely a lot more working space than in the old ticket office.

We walked down the northwest hall first. It is surrounded on both sides by the film editing room and meeting rooms for whole team, offense and defense, and individual positions. Video can be piped down to the room from each coach's individual computers. Below, one of the larger meeting rooms.

After that hallway, we entered the huge state of the art weightroom on the west end of the building. It is huge and the equipment, floor, etc. is top notch. Below, a few shots of the room. First looking down the center of the room.

Looking down the westwall where the dumbbell racks are located.

One of the new machines, designed for use by the Qb's, baseball pitchers, volleyball players, etc.

A shot looking into the massive equipment room. Space is saved by rolling shelves that can be opened by turning the levers to open individual aisles. There is a large loft overhead where more equipent can be stored.

Below, a shot of one of the aisles cranked open giving access to the equipment stored on those shelves.

A shot of the laundry room with the three large washers and three large dryers. Long time assistant equipment manager, Fred Thomas, says he thinks he died and went to Heaven. :-)

A couple of shots of some of the oak wood player lockers in the football locker room.

A couple of shots of the locker room bathroom and shower area.

After viewing the locker room area, we went up to the second level of the Field House which is accessible by two elevators or a set of stairs. In the center of the second floor is the EndZone Club room. Eventually, it will have banquet type seating with round tables in it.

The view of the stadium from one of the End Zone Club windows. You can see the outside stadium seats in the bottom of the picture.

On the east end of the second floor is a hallway with coaches' offices on the south and a large coaches meeting room on the north. Below, a couple of shots of the coaches' offices. All coaches have a window with a view of the stadium.

A shot of what appears to be the main coaches meeting room. It looks like it is already been in use.

On the west end, there is a hall with more coaches office on the south side, and a meeting room or two and the coaches' lockerroom on the north. Below, two shots of Head Coach Matt Viator's office. I definitely recognize a few of the pictures in that group of pictures on the left wall.

A view of the stadium out of one of the windows in Matt's office.

A smaller meeting room on opposite side of the hall from Matt's office.

A shot of the coaches' locker room.

A shot of some of the 138 EndZone Club outside seating. From what I have heard, retractable awnings will be installed where the bare wood is above the windows.

After going back down to the first level, we went down the halls on eastside of the building. This is where all administrative offices are located. We first stopped at A.D. Tommy McClelland's office. Below, a shot of his secretary's office.

A couple of shots of Tommy's office.

Below, Tommy talks to some of the fans on the tour in the meeting room that adjoins his office.

At the end of the southeast, there is a large student academic room.

Going back up the northeast hall, there were more administrative offices. Somebody told me that this was SID Louis Bonnette's office but I was going nah there is not enough boxes with years of McNeese information stacked in them. But maybe it is and he hasn't moved all his stuff in yet. :-)

Like I said in the beginning, this is just some of the Field House and there is still some finish work and dressing to be done. Like the brick pillars and the wrought iron fencing for the northeast and northwest entrances to the stadium.
