I invited a group of 6 Cal Poly fans, I met on their messageboard, to our tailgate site for this game. They have a Cal Poly banner onto which they sew a patch for each school they visit. I supplied a McNeese patch to them and got a Cal Poly hat for my wall. I like to thank Tim, Bill, J. (not Jay) and their wives for visiting with us this game. Below, a shot of their banner and a shot of them with Chris and Andy in front of the banner.

A little after 3 PM I decided to take a walk-about through the tailgate areas on both sides of the stadium Right outside of our tailgate spot, I got this shot of a young fan doing a wheelie with his bike.

I saw this serious BBQ pit at Bill Pousson's spot.

Around the corner from there, I saw this buggy complete with a loud sound system. I guess it is a tricked out golf cart.

I saw this pit at Jimmy Mallet's spot. After seeing it, I decided I better go see if my toolbox was still in the back of my truck. :-)

One of McNeese's police officers patrolling on a bike.

As you could see from the flags blowing over this tailgate spot there was a nice south wind blowing.

Some nice looking grilled sausage being cut up.

Danny Friesner was keeping his head out of the sun with this big hat.

A big pot of jambalaya at Kenny Cochran's spot.

A shot of Bob Patrick, one of the local beer distributors and in the sunglasses on the left, at his tailgate spot.

As my sons' tailgate, my youngest son was cooking up the makings of some fajitas.

I strolled through Parking Lot A to check the new tailgate spots on the north side and saw this serious cooker.

Got to be some Parrotheads at this tailgate spot.
