2011 Cowboy Night Pictures
I attended Cowboy Night Wednesday. Cowboy Night was shortened, especially the scrimmage, due to the storms and the lightning in the area. The Cowgirl Kickers performed and then were individually introduced to the crowd. After that the Band performed. Then three of the Parapokes literally dropped into the stadium. The scimmage was supposed to be two fifteen minute timed halves. But after the first half, the lightning started popping and the team headed to the dressing room. Then this year's cheerleaders were introduced (I guess they were expendable). After about 15 or 20 minutes of waiting, it was announced that the rest of the scrimmage was cancelled due to the weather.
