Cowboy Night, Page 1

I made it over to Cowboy Stadium, along with 4,000 or so other McNeese fans, to watch the annual Cowboy Night. This is the night that the last pre-season scrimmage is held. It is a dress rehersal for the first games and the Band, Kickers, Cheerleaders, etc. are usually there. Below, the Band kicks things off with the playing of Jolie Blonde starting with a new drum roll

The Band's featured twirler twirls.

Another shot of the Band.

Former Kicker Paige Caldwell and former Cheerleader Ron Hayes mc the pre-scrimmage festivities.

Head Cheerleader Mike Strahan introduces a cheer to the crowd in the "Yell Practice" part of Cowboy Night.

A couple of the Cheerleaders perform to the playing of "On McNeese".

A shot of some of the Cowgirl Kickers dancing to "On McNeese".

A shot of some of the tuba players resting.

A shot of some of the Kickers performing a dance number.

Rowdy sways and claps to the playing of "Jolie Blonde".

The good crowd, that was present, joins in with the playing of "Jolie Blonde".

As the Band leaves the field, the Tubas perform their now almost famous "Fighting Tuba Circle" :-)

One fan brought and showed me this old McNeese light bulb he found and bought. He was wondering about when it was made and the history behind it. If anybody knows please email me at mcneese722@cox-internet.com.
