After Matt Fontenot was hit by a pitch from the new Valpo pitcher, Bryn Thompson singles to left field to score Granger.

After Jordan Venable was hit by a pitch to load the bases, Andy Riche' doubles to centerfield and clears the bases.

The inning ends when Blake Ellender hits a little dribbler in front of the plate and the Valpo catcher throws him out. But we get 6 runs in the inning and lead 12-0.

After getting a popup to 2nd base, the next batter hits a ground ball to first base. Jonathan Conrad covers, does a good job catching the ball, and then locating the bag to beat the batter to first base.

Tyler Park, who came in for Matt Fontenot at shortstop in the 5th, hits a sharp line drive to the second baseman.

After Daniel Zaunbrecher doubles to right center and Jordan Venable flies out to centerfield, Josh hits a fly ball to right field for the last out.

Taylor Ducoff comes in to pitch the top of the 7th inning. Taylor gave up only 1hit in his one inning of work.

After the first batter doubled, the second batter hit a ground ball to Josh LeBert, now playing second, who throws him out at first.

The next batter hits a ball back to Taylor, who looks back the runner to third base, and, then throws to first for the second out.

The next batter grounds out to second to end the inninng and the game due to the 10 run rule after 7 innings.

It was Sunday, so the kids were allowed onto the field to run the bases, which is a big thrill for them.
