This brings up Lee Orr who blasts a three run homerun on this swing.
Not much happens for a couple of innings. In the top of the 7th NSU scores to make the score 12-9. Below, Lee Orr makes a catch in right field to end the 7th inning.
In the bottom of the 7th inning, after Merrill singled and made it to second on two ground ball outs, Taylor Freeman was up. The Demons decided to intentionally walk him. They first threw a wild pitch while doing so to get Merrill to 3rd.
But Lee Orr made them pay by hitting his second three run homer of the game. This made the score 15-9.
After a single and two walks to load the bases in NSU's 8th inning, Travis Bailey was brought in to pitch.
The next batter singled driving in one run. Then they next batter crossed the plate and hit helmets with the runners on base in front of him and the score was now 15-14.
After a hit batsman, Travis was to get a ground out to third, a strikeout, and then a ground out to second base to get out of the inning.
We didn't do anything in the bottom of the 8th and Jordan LeGros came in to pitch the 9th.
Jordan got a ground ball to shortstop for the first out and then struck out the next two batters to end the game.
