Of course, the call or change of the call, brought the HBU head coach out to vigorously argue. I thought he might get tossed for a few seconds there.

With two outs and a runner on second in the HBU 6th, the next ball hit a hard ground ball that hit Jonathan Conrad. He was able to recover, get the ball, and toss it to first for the third out.

Matt Fontenot opened our half of the 6th by hitting this pitch to center for a single. Josh Cholley put down a sac bunt to get him to second. But a fly out ot centerfield and a pop up to second base ended the inning with McNeese ahead 5-0.

HBU went three and out in the top of the 7th with a flyball to left field, a flyball to center, and ground ball to 3rd base. Below, Sam Merrill catches the flyball to centerfield.

During this inning, submariner Travis Bailey began warming up in the bullpen.

In our half of the 7th, after a flyout and a strikeout, Lee Orr ends the inning by hitting a popup that the HBU firstbase catches.

In the top of the 8th, Travis Bailey came on to replace Jonathan Conrad on the mound.

The submariner got three ground balls, one to ss, to 2b, and one 3b, in a row.

In the bottom of the 8th and after one out, Ryan Brauninger doubles to centerfield.

After another fly out, Josh Cholley doubles to left field to score Ryan.

With a 6-0 lead, Travis Bailey was back on the mound to start the top of the 9th.

He got the first batter to ground out to Steve Irving at third. Below, Steve sets up to throw the runner out at first.

After that Travis suffered a little wildness. He walked a batter and then gave up a two run homer. But after the next batter singled, he struck out another for the second out. The next batter hit a ball into right field in foul territory and Stever Orr made another good catch to end the game.

A shot of the final scoreboard as McNeese comes away with a 6-2 victory and a sweep of the weekend series.
