McNeese vs University of the Southwest Game
I made it out to Burton Coliseum to watch McNeese play the University of the Southwest, one of the teams in the NAIA Red River Valley Conference. We had our top two scorers, Patrick Richard and Diego Kapelan, sitting out with injuries this game. But the younger guys stepped up and played well. We jumped on them hard the first half and got a big lead. In the second half, we substituted liberally and coasted. We finally came away with a 100-61 win.
