The Cowboys played Louisiana Monroe Saturday afternoon in Burton Coliseum. Except for a short time or two in the first half they were behind the whole game until about 7 seconds left in the game. They were behind by four points at 60-64 with a little over 20 seconds in the game. McNeese inbounded the ball and got the ball to Edward Garriet, who took a quick three point shot and got nothing but net. ULM inbounded the ball and Edward Garriet then intercepted a pass at midcourt. He dribbled towards the lane and then hit a wide open Aldrynn Wardell under the basket. Aldrynn put up a layup with about seven seconds left and a ULM player trapped the ball on the glass and was called for goaltending. ULM took a wild shot near the end that wasn't close and the Pokes won 65-64.
Below are links to a few of the pictures that I took of the game.
