A made it out early to Burton Coliseum to join the revived Tip-Off Club, to pay my dues, and catch the meeting of the Tip-Off Club. Meetings are one hour before gametime in the Chaukley Room at Burton Coliseum. Dues are $275 and can be paid at the meeting or by contacting the McNeese Athletic Foundation. Below, Coach Dave Simmons talks to the Tip-Off Club about his team and today's game.
After the meeting, I went out to catch a little of the warmups. Below, a shot of Jarvis Bradley during warmups.

The team did a little something different during player introductions. They went into a swaying huddle and as each starter was name, they broke out of the huddle and went to the other side of the court through the cheerleaders.

John puts up a jump shot early in the game.
Jarvis gets inside for a short jumper.
Kleon gets open inside and jams one home. Kleon had 5 points and couple of blocks this game.
John puts up another jump shot. John had 11 points and 5 assists for the game.
The Cowgirl Kickers sit in their usual spot, watch the game, and wait to perform in timeouts and at halftime.
John Pichon tries to save the ball on an errant pass on a breakaway. He either didn't get the timeout called or his foot touched the line before he took off because they didn't give him the timeout.
Rorey Lawrence dribbles the ball up the court. Rorey had a frustrating night.
John puts up a free throw right before the half ends. His two free throws put us up 25-20 at halftime.
