McNeese vs Stephen F. Austin University Game
I made it over to the Lake Charles Civic Center for the McNeese-SFA game. The game was played at the Civic Center Coliseum because of the rodeo at Burton Coliseum. The Cowboys started slow in this one. SFA played good defense but the Cowboys just could not hit their open shots in the first half. In the second half, the Cowboys cut it to with about a 11 minutes left but got called for an intentional foul that I thought was not intentional. SFA made two free throws, got the ball back and converted the next possession. The Cowboys never could get it close again. They played some good defense in the second half forcing SFA to throw a shot up right before the shot clock would go off and they seemed to always hit. It was not a good afternoon for the Cowboys and they came away with a 55-70 loss.
