McNeese vs Northwestern State Game

We played Northwestern St in the Civic Center on Wednesday night because of the Rodeo being held at Burton Coliseum. They have the Civic Center all spiffed up now with a new ceiling, new paint job, and new lighting systems. Very good lighting for us photographer types, better than Burton Coliseum now. The Civic Center is a nice cozy place to play basketball now. I wish we could play more games there

As far as the game, Northwestern St. plays a pressing fast paced game and that work very well for us. We ran well, defended well, and shot well and went out to a big lead in the first half. We slowed things down a little but held on to take a 85-74 win.
