When I got to Burton Coliseum, the first thing I saw was that the SGA was having a promotional night trying to get students out to the game. They were also giving out T-shirts to students.

There was a good contigent of Lamar fans at the game sitting in the designated visitors section behind the Lamar bench. But, as in every year and even though there are plenty of general admission seats in the upper level, they think they can sit in the reserved seating areas of the lower level and have to be moved.

The McNeese Pep Band was there helping to create a good atmosphere for the game.

The team captains and the referees all meet at center court during warmups.

The Cowboys enter through the tunnel right before the game led, as usual, by point guard John Ford.

The Pep Band and Cowgirl Kickers sway to the playing of "Jolie Blonde".

A couple of students brought this sign for Lamar. I guess it is a play on the nickname of the football stadium, "The Hole". Considering Lamar's record at Burton the last 10 years, the Lamar people might think they are right.

The team went back to the swaying huddle during player introductions.

Big Kleon and a Lamar player go up during the opening tipoff.

Jarvis Bradley led all scorers for McNeese with 22 points. Every so often, McNeese would spread the court and run a play that isolated Jarvis on his defender and he continually beat his man under the basket. Here, he puts up a short jumper.

Big Kleon pulls down a rebound. Kleon had 15 rebounds, 12 points, and 9 blocked shots. He would have had a triple double, but he was called for a foul late in the game on what looked like a clean block to most McNeese fans.

Rorey Lawrence puts in a three pointer.

Coach Simmons talks to his players during a timeout.

Jarvis Bradley beats his man underneath for a couple of baskets.

Kleon goes up to attempt to block a shot. I don't remember if he got this one or not, but if he didn't he definitely altered the shot.
