McNeese vs Central Arkansas Game
I made it out to Burton on Saturday afternoon to watch the Pokes play a very important conference game with the league leading Lamar Cardinals. The Pokes played well. Kleon missed a triple double by one blocked shot, Jarvis Bradley continually beat his man underneath for 22 points, John Ford had a great game on defense, on offense, and bringing up the ball against the Lamar press, John Pichon continued his good hustling play, and a lot of the bench players chipped in with some good play. After having a good lead in the second half, we beat back a Lamar comeback attempt and won when Kleon caused the best Lamar shooter to alter a last second three point attempt. The final score was 74-71. Reminded me of the old days.
