McNeese vs Florida Atlantic Game
I made it out to Burton on Black Friday to take in the game between Florida Atlantic and the Cowboys. We started out late but came on in the first half to take a six point lead at halftime. We held that lead the second half, made some clutch free throws at the end, and came away with a 72-68 win despite letting FAU shoot and make an open 3 pointer at the buzzer
It was definitely a team effort but P.J. Alawoya with a double double and C.J. Collins with a team leading 13 points and some clutch baskets late in the second half, both had good games.
This team looks to have a lot of potential and Coach Simmons is doing a good job molding the team. If you haven't been to a game, you need to make it out to one or you will miss out on what could be a very good basketball season.
